Anthony Martial was delighted with Manchester United’s performance away to Everton in what was a convincing 3-0 win.
Playing on the left-wing for the first time after a man of the match showing for France in that role during the international break, Martial once again played extremely well.
What is so pleasing about watching Martial play is the fact he doesn’t need a goal to play well at all. Seamus Coleman, who is considered one of the Premier League’s best right-backs, was terrorised by Martial’s pace all game and got turned inside out on more than one occasion by the tricky Frenchman.
Great performance today 3-0 ✌🏾️

Martial is showing the sort of consistency right now that even the most seasoned professionals and veterans of the game struggle to find, yet he is just 19.
Plenty of opposition fans are waiting for Martial to trip up and loose form and if we’re perfectly honest we are all fully aware that a lull will come at some point this season, it’s widely considered as inevitable. Yet, in another tough game today against Everton and a right-back considered one of the league’s best, Martial was dangerous for the full 90 minutes.
Next up for Martial are two crucial games – away to CSKA Moscow before Manchester City visit Old Trafford. If he can put in another two strong performances in those games, then his confidence is going to exponentially continue to rise.
