FIFA have announced a 23-man shortlist for the 2015 Ballon d’Or award and there is surprisingly no place on the list for Manchester United’s David de Gea.
The Man United goalkeeper has been in stunning form for over two years now but that’s not enough to earn him a spot on the shortlist ahead of the likes of Manchester City’s Yaya Toure.
Manuel Neuer is the only goalkeeper who has been named on the shortlist which is a bit of a joke considering how consistent and fantastic De Gea has been for United.
