Manchester United travel to Russia ahead of CSKA Moscow clash

The Manchester United squad are on their way to Russia ahead of the Champions League clash against CSKA Moscow on Wednesday night.

Man United travel to Moscow knowing that CSKA will give them a stern test at the Arena Khimki.

United were beaten by PSV Eindhoven in their opening group game but secured a 2-1 victory against Wolfsburg last time out thanks to goals from Juan Mata and Chris Smalling.

CSKA, United, PSV and Wolfsburg all have three points in Group B and a win for Louis van Gaal’s side would send a real statement of intent.

However, CSKA are no pushovers and United would do well to take away a positive result from the game.

Sergio Romero and Antonio Valencia have travelled with the squad, as has Jesse Lingard, who enjoyed a 45 minute appearance from the bench in the 3-0 victory against Everton last time out.
