Manchester United’s Bastian Schweinsteiger disappointed not to win against CSKA Moscow

Bastian Schweinsteiger has revealed his disappointment after Manchester United failed to secure three points against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

CSKA went ahead on the night thanks to Seydou Doumbia’s strike before Anthony Martial levelled things up in the second half.

Neither side could find a winner, meaning they had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Schweinsteiger was downbeat following the clash but insisted United will bounce back when CSKA visit Old Trafford at the start of November:

Of course, United should be looking to win every game they play but a point away from home in the Champions League is far from a disaster.

Attention will now turn to the Manchester derby this weekend, as Manchester City travel to Old Trafford. City will be without Sergio Aguero and David Silva for the match and United will be confident of laying down a marker to the rest of the Premier League.
