Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew identifies Anthony Martial as Manchester United’s danger man

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew believes his side will have to “keep an eye” on Anthony Martial during the clash against Manchester United this weekend.

Martial has put in some scintillating performances in a Man United shirt since he moved to the club for a record fee on transfer deadline day.

The Frenchman’s pace and drive has injected some much needed impetus into United’s attack.

Pardew insisted Palace will need to be wary of Martial and also added that possession will be “key” for United:

Pardew has done a good job at Palace since taking charge of the London club earlier this year.

However, they could be without a number of first-team players as the likes of Connor Wickham, Yohan Cabaye and Jason Puncheon all have question marks over their fitness. Regardless, United and Martial will need to be on top form if they are to take away three points from Selhurst Park.
