Louis van Gaal: I’ll do ‘everything’ to succeed at Manchester United

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has insisted he will do “everything” he can to succeed at Old Trafford because of the fans.

Van Gaal has been coming under fire lately following some uninspired displays from his side.

Man United laboured to a 0-0 draw in last weekend’s Manchester derby while they were knocked out of the Capital One Cup by Middlesbrough on Wednesday night.

Van Gaal believes United are improving but reiterated that it is a “process”:

Van Gaal has overseen a necessary overhaul in personnel at Old Trafford and is integrating several youngsters into the first-team squad.

It is clear that his actions are with the long-term in mind but patience wears thin at a club like United, where immediate success is craved. Nevertheless, he still has United two points off the top of the Premier League.
