Manchester United have released the first photos of Luke Shaw working hard in his rehabilitation at Carrington after his horror leg break.
The 19-year-old has been working behind the scenes at Carrington for a few weeks now and it’s superb to see him working on the bike and in the pool.
As you can see, Shaw doesn’t have a cast on his leg but instead has a tight bandage and that’s something which has surprised fans from the very start, but it is reportedly normal for an operation like Shaw’s in which he had metal rods inserted.

The hard work for Shaw is now under way. After a serious injury like this, he’ll need to have the mental strength to keep working and working towards the ultimate goal of returning to the pitch because he’s a long time away from that just now.

However, with the best medical advice and facilities around him, Shaw couldn’t be in a better position to return to full fitness and as he’s shown in the early stages of his recovery, he’s very keen to take full advantage of that.
