Jesse Lingard continues surge to becoming Manchester United regular

Jesse Lingard was fantastic for Manchester United in their 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

The 22-year-old proved to be the difference with a goal in the second half that changed the game completely in Man United’s favour as it forced West Brom to come out of their defensive shape, and it ultimately led to Anthony Martial‘s breakaway goal at the end to seal a comfortable victory.

Lingard also had a big influence in United’s win over CSKA Moscow during the week and Louis van Gaal will be delighted with how he got on in the Premier League. The fan certainly were having seen him score his first goal in front of the Stretford End:

Lingard is a born and bred Red. He came through the academy and earned his place in the first-team. Now, he’s reaping the rewards of the richly deserved spotlight. Well done Jesse.
