Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney was delighted to catch up with former teammates Paul Pogba and Patrice Evra following England’s game against France on Tuesday night.
Pogba left Man United for Juventus in 2012 after a falling out with Sir Alex Ferguson over game time.
Evra, a fans’ favourite at Old Trafford, joined Pogba at the Old Lady two years later.
The pair helped Juventus reach the Champions League final last season, although they were beaten 3-1 by Barcelona. Rooney caught up with them at Wembley:

Man United fans would certainly like to see both players back at the club someday, of course in different capacities given that Evra’s best years are now behind him.
Pogba has developed into one of the most promising young midfielders in the world since joining Juventus while Evra often talks about the connection he has with the Old Trafford support. Rooney scored in the friendly and will be hoping to push on back at United ahead of the clash against Watford at Vicarage Road this weekend.
