Andreas Pereira has linked up with his Manchester United teammates David de Gea and Marcos Rojo ahead of the clash against Watford this weekend.

Man United travel to Vicarage Road in fourth position in the Premier League, two points behind Manchester City at the summit.

Louis van Gaal is having to contend with an injury crisis prior to the game, with Michael Carrick, Antonio Valencia, Wayne Rooney, Marouane Fellaini and Anthony Martial all sidelined. Pereira will be hopeful of taking advantage of their absences with a start against the Hornets:

Pereira has featured against the likes of Middlesbrough and Wolfsburg this term and has impressed when he has been on the pitch.

Watford are a sound defensive unit and Pereira could be exactly the sort of player to provide a moment of magic which would unlock their defence. Three points is crucial if United are to keep pace at the top of the Premier League table and Pereira would no doubt relish the opportunity to help his side.
