Manchester United have been given a real boost by Anthony Martial‘s return to training ahead of PSV Eindhoven and the 19-year-old looks delighted to be back with the squad.

Martial missed Man United’s win over Watford at the weekend after suffering a foot injury away on international duty with France and there was major concern over his long-term fitness as he left Wembley on crutches.

So, United fans are just as delighted to see Martial back in full training because it means the injury wasn’t as serious as first expected and he is now in contention to face PSV on Wednesday. Here are a few pictures of Martial in training:

Martial is absolutely crucial to United’s attack and although we strangely enough had one of our best halves of attacking football in the first half against Watford with Memphis Depay up front, nobody is under any illusion that Martial won’t be brought straight back into the starting XI if he is fit.

It’s amazing how Martial has transformed opinion of him in such a short space of time; he’s no longer the expensive French kid who the press insist United bought in a blind panic, he’s now one of United’s most dangerous and a real threat to any defence including PSV’s on Wednesday.
