Manchester United’s Predicted XI after injury update vs Leicester City

by Sam Peoples

David de Gea – He’ll be busy on Saturday and hopefully can swat everything away that comes at him.

Matteo Darmian – Has lost his early season momentum but is our best right-back.

Chris Smalling – Our man of the moment. Smalling vs Vardy is without doubt the main battle of the day.

Daley Blind – With Phil Jones out injured, Blind will settle back in at centre-back.

Marcos Rojo – Either him or Ashley Young at left-back.

Morgan Schneiderlin – Had a bit of a mare against PSV Eindhoven but is without doubt the first midfielder on the team-sheet.

Odds: Rooney to score and Man United to win? Will Hill will give you 4-1 and £20 free when you bet £10!

Bastian Schweinsteiger – Think there are questions about his fitness but do we have an alternative? Marouane Fellaini? No thanks.

Wayne Rooney – Not much to say about Rooney any more. Will he turn his form around? We’re all hoping so (still…)

Juan Mata – We missed his creative spark against PSV. When we’re not moving much, we need incisive passing to create chances.

Jesse Lingard – Is now reportedly a doubt for the Leicester game but I hope not – has been one of our best performers in recent weeks.

Anthony Martial – Come on Tony, get back to goalscoring ways!

Odds: Vardy has scored in 10 consecutive Premier League games. Think he’ll make it 11 and Leicester will beat Man United? Will Hill will give you 5-1 and £20 free when you bet £10!
