Former Manchester United midfielder Ravel Morrison edges towards Lazio exit – report

Former Manchester United midfielder Ravel Morrison has fallen out with Lazio coach Stefano Pioli and could soon be on his way out of the Italian club, according to Calcio Mercato.

Morrison left Man United in 2012 and spent time at West Ham United, Birmingham City, Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City before joining Lazio this year.

However, the Englishman has only made six appearances in Italy after reportedly suffering from a breakdown in his relationship with Pioli. Lazio are now said to be considering offloading Morrison in the near future.

Morrison is allegedly unhappy with the lack of opportunities at the club but the midfielder shares a good rapport with Lazio’s hierarchy.

Sir Alex Ferguson once described Morrison as one of the most exciting prospects to come out of United’s academy but his once promising career has derailed thanks to a number of issues off the pitch.

Unfortunately, it looks like Morrison will go down as another ‘what if’ in terms of what he could have achieved in the game. Aged just 22, it is a shame to see his fall from grace play out so dramatically.
