Andreas Pereira was delighted to play 90 minutes in Manchester United U21s’ 3-2 win over Liverpool on Monday night.

Man United triumphed in the clash thanks to goals from Marouane Fellaini, Sean Goss and Nick Powell.

It was a good evening for United as the likes of Fellaini and Powell continued their comebacks following injury. Pereira praised his teammates after the match:

Good win !! Good to have played 90min again after long time !! ??????

Pereira has featured against the likes of Wolfsburg and Middlesbrough this season but he is yet to really force his way into the first-team on a consistent basis.

At just 19, there is still plenty of time for Pereira to prove himself at Old Trafford and the general agreement amongst fans is that he will make it sooner rather than later.

The Brazilian will be hoping to be included in the squad for the game against West Ham United this weekend as Louis van Gaal’s side continue their Premier League title challenge.
