Manchester United defender Luke Shaw was disappointed to see his teammates only pick up a point from their game against West Ham.
Shaw is still recovering from the double broken leg he suffered back in September and Man United fans are beginning to fully understand just how much of an impact he was having at left-back. The youngster had started the season very well before Hector Moreno’s challenge against PSV Eindhoven ruled him out of action for upwards of six months.
The 20-year-old’s energy and pace down the left hand side was crucial for United during the early parts of the season, as he was one of the few players always intent on getting forward. The Reds are crying out for a player like Shaw currently, as they struggled to penetrate defences and find the back of the net.
Not the result we wanted today but hope you enjoyed your time at Old Trafford @maburgess8 👍🏻

Shaw could be back in action in March, which could mean he is fit enough for United’s title run-in. There are also rumours of Louis van Gaal looking to bring in a new left-back in the January transfer window. Injuries have meant that Matteo Darmian has had to deputise at left-back recently and the Italian has been unable to replicate his form from early in the campaign.
United have a crucial clash against Wolfsburg on Tuesday to prepare for as they try to ensure their progress into the first knockout round of the Champions League. Shaw will be hoping for a win that could give him the opportunity to participate in the tournament during the business end of the season.
