Manchester United’s injury round-up: Who’ll be fit for Bournemouth?

Manchester United’s injury are continuing to mount and get even worse. Ahead of the Bournemouth game this weekend, here’s a round-up of the latest situation.

Matteo Darmian – Went off with a hamstring problem against Wolfsburg. No return date set.

Chris Smalling – Carried on until the end of the game against Wolfsburg with a groin problem. Major concerns over how long he will be out for because he’s so important.

Phil Jones – Is out with a twisted ankle. No return date set.

Marcos Rojo – Underwent surgery on Wednesday to fix his dislocated shoulder. Could be out for some time.

Luke Shaw – Unlikely to be back before the end of the season.

Antonio Valencia – Had surgery on his foot a couple of weeks ago. No return date set.

Ander Herrera – Now close to full fitness, could return for Bournemouth.

Morgan Schneiderlin – May be fit for Bournemouth but no confirmation on that yet.

Wayne Rooney – Louis van Gaal labelled his injury as ‘nasty’ so there is no confirmation on when he’ll be back.
