Manchester United have joined Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid in the race to sign Bayern Munich’s Thomas Lewandowski, according to reports.
Lewandowski has been in superb form for Bayern this season having scored 23 goals in 25 appearances.
Madrid have already registered their interest in the Polish striker and are keen on securing a deal for next summer.
However, they will face competition from Man United and Paris Saint-Germain, who see Lewandowski as a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic should the Swede leave the French club.
United’s problems up top have been well documented this term and they see Lewandowski as the perfect solution.
Lewandowski is a fantastic forward and one that would go a long way to making United a force in world football once again.
However, it is difficult to see how the club would go about persuading him to move to Old Trafford over the likes of Madrid, who are clearly in a much stronger position in terms of results on the pitch.
