Daley Blind: Manchester United must win against Norwich City

Daley Blind has urged his Manchester United teammates to secure all three points against Norwich City this Saturday.

Man United and Louis van Gaal have come under scrutiny in recent weeks following back to back defeats against Wolfsburg and Bournemouth.

Van Gaal’s side are now without a win in five games in all competitions and there have been calls for the Dutchman to be sacked. Blind insisted United need to look at themselves and secure the win against Norwich.

“It’s important, we’ve got an busy programme coming up so it’s important to get three points,” Blind said.

“That’s the only thing that counts now, I think everyone in the dressing room and all of the staff know that. They’re a difficult team to play against, but we need to look at ourselves at this point.”

Despite their poor form, United are favourites for the clash as Norwich have only been victorious once in their last 11 outings.

However, the team has shown this season that anything can happen in terms of results. You get the sense that United’s attacking prowess will be crucial in how the match goes, so van Gaal will be relieved that Wayne Rooney and Ander Herrera trained for a week prior to the clash.
