Norwich City fans taunt under pressure Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal

Norwich City supporters had the last laugh at Old Trafford on Saturday with a cheeky dig at Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal.

With Jose Mourinho sacked by Chelsea and van Gaal under huge pressure at Man United, the Canaries away support broke out into a chorus of “Jose Mourinho, he’s taking your job”.

It would not be a surprise if many United fans did not even take offence to the chant, given the increasing discontent at the job van Gaal is doing in Manchester.

The Dutchman seems to slowly be losing the fans backing as the season goes on, with United without a in in their past six games and languishing in fifth in the Premier League table.

The hopes of a league title seem to have disappeared over the past month as the Reds continue to look over their shoulder rather than at the teams ahead of them.

Mourinho at Old Trafford is definitely an interesting prospect and one the Norwich faithful could be excited to see. However, should the Portuguese ever end up in Manchester opposition fans can rest assured that he could be the man to finally rebuild United and get them back to the level they were at under Sir Alex Ferguson.
