Louis van Gaal set to lose his job after Chelsea game – report

by Sam Peoples

Louis van Gaal‘s tenure as Manchester United manager is on the ropes right now and if The Telegraph are correct, it is set to end regardless of the result against Chelsea.

Man United have lost four consecutive games heading into the Chelsea game and reports suggest that even if van Gaal’s side come away with three points against the current Premier League champions, his time as manager could well be up.

For many fans, they have lost patience in van Gaal’s style of play and the results which have come as a consequence. It’s not the fact we are losing games, it’s the fact we are repeating similarly embarrassing performances and getting the same, awful results.

With time potentially up for van Gaal, it will be interesting to see how United perform against Chelsea who are a team in a far worse situation than us this season, languishing in 15th position having just sacked Jose Mourinho.

We all thought a home game against Norwich City was the perfect way to get over our hump in form but it proved not to be the case. Now, after another loss away at Stoke, van Gaal’s last hurrah could be tonight at Old Trafford against Chelsea because it’s become almost impossible to justify him keeping his job.
