Former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has been voted Bundesliga Player of the Month for the second time in a row.
Hernandez left Man United to join Bayer Leverkusen this summer and he has flourished in Germany, picking up the best player award for both November and December.
The Mexican has bagged seven goals in his last five matches, including a hat-trick against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Hernandez was shipped out on loan to Real Madrid in Louis van Gaal’s first season as United manager.
He struggled at the Bernabeu, only making a handful of appearances before returning to Old Trafford.
Van Gaal gave Hernandez a few games to prove himself at the start of the campaign but he failed to take the chance, meaning he was let go. The decision has proven to be the wrong one in hindsight but there was no guarantee that Hernandez would be in the same form had he stayed at United. That being said, United certainly could have used him in the draw against Chelsea last time out.
