Manchester United’s Anthony Martial named Man of the Match against Swansea

by Ben Topliss

Anthony Martial has been awarded Manchester United’s Man of the Match award following his superb display against Swansea City on Saturday.

Martial scored Man United’s opening goal of the match before setting up Wayne Rooney’s winning strike with an excellent run.

It was a crucial result for Louis van Gaal and he has Martial to thank after what was an imperious performance. United recognised Martial’s efforts following the match:

Aged just 20, Martial is a regular starter for United and arguably their most important player right now, which really tells you everything you need to know about the Frenchman’s talent.

The sky is the limit in terms of what Martial can achieve and it will be exciting to see how he develops at Old Trafford.

If Memphis Depay finds his feet and Luke Shaw returns to his best following injury, United will have some of the most exciting young players in the world playing for them. United aren’t in the best condition right now but the future should be bright.
