Anthony Martial has won Manchester United’s Player of the Month award for December.
Man United were awful as a whole during the month but Martial continued to catch the eye with some promising displays.
The Frenchman started in every one of United’s fixtures over December and he scored against Wolfsburg and Norwich City.

He received 69% of the fan vote, finishing above second-placed Chris Smalling and Daley Blind, who finished third.
Martial’s Player of the Month award is the first of his United career and it likely won’t be the last as he has been the team’s shining light this term.
The forward picked up the Golden Boy award earlier this term and has also been recognised by the Premier League.
Martial is a special talent and Louis van Gaal deserves huge credit for bringing him in on transfer deadline day. United spent £36m on the youngster but he has blown all the expectations on him out of the water.
