Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has confirmed that he has no plans to leave the Bundesliga club.
Aubameyang has been in sensational form for Dortmund this term, scoring 24 goals in 23 appearances.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City are all said to be interested in the Gabon striker but he rubbished the rumours after picking up the African Player of the Year award this week.
When asked about Arsenal’s reported interest, Aubameyang said: “I don’t want to go to Arsenal. I won’t leave Dortmund soon.”
Man United have been linked with a host of ‘star’ names and it is clear that the club are on the lookout for a marquee signing.
Real Madrid duo Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo have also been linked with moves to Old Trafford, while Barcelona’s Neymar is also said to be the subject of interest from United. However, with United currently struggling in the Premier League, it will take a lot of convincing if they are to persuade a world-class talent to join the club.
