Chris SmallingVery dominant when needed, albeit against League One opposition.

Matteo DarmianAt the start of the game, looked more like the player who was in great form at the beginning of the season.

Bastian SchweinsteigerControlled the game in parts but not in others.

Ander HerreraUncharacteristically bad passing from the usual precise Spaniard.

Marouane FellainiHim losing a battle to win a header and then getting outpaced by a League One player says it all.

Juan MataToo many times this season the game has just passed Mata by. This was another one.

Wayne RooneyPressure penalty to save United.

Anthony MartialAs usual, he’s the only player willing to run with it at his feet.


Memphis DepayEffectively won the game for us with that run into the box for the penalty.

Jesse LingardAdded a bit more width but didn’t do much else.
