David de Gea: He’ll have a busy day because Liverpool will get plenty of chances.
Ashley Young: Needs to have a top, top performance. Alberto Moreno will cause him a lot of problems.
Chris Smalling: Had an absolute mare against Newcastle but over the course of the season he’s been class. Hoping to see that player at Anfield.
Daley Blind: Not sure about Blind’s performances recently, feel like he isn’t doing enough.
Matteo Darmian: He started as left-back against Newcastle but ended up at right-wing at some point. Needs to be disciplined because Nathaniel Clyne will be overlapping a lot.
Morgan Schneiderlin: The rock of our midfield. If he doesn’t start, we may as well go home before the first whistle.
Ander Herrera: The heartbeat of our midfield. He simply has to start.
Jesse Lingard: Tough one to call this position but think Martial will be put out on the left where he’s had so much success this season.

Juan Mata: For me, he’s got to start after what he did in this fixture last year.
Anthony Martial: Still the main threat we’ve got and Liverpool will know that, so I expect him to be double marked with their pressing game.
Wayne Rooney: Back among the goals with a brace against Newcastle but can he do it at Anfield? I hope so
Formation: 4-2-3-1 – I think Louis van Gaal will be pragmatic and return to two holding midfielders, which is not the worst idea away from home against Liverpool but we have to make sure we hit hard and fast on the counter-attack.
