Backpages: Louis van Gaal in the driving seat, it’s business as usual

by Sam Peoples

On Wednesday, the main story from the back pages is The Sun’s Martin Blackburn who says van Gaal will continue on, ‘business as usual’ to paraphrase.

Elsewhere, The Metro have given a small sidebar section to van Gaal, dismissing claims he had offered in his recognition before he went to the Netherlands this weekend.

Seeing as there has been so much United news this week, tomorrow’s papers feel eerily quiet, strangely quiet but I am still expecting this story to develop through online outlets and we’ll be bringing you an update if and when anything happens.
