Manchester United’s Andreas Pereira denied loan move by Louis van Gaal – report

Louis van Gaal has blocked Andreas Pereira from leaving Manchester United on loan, according to MailOnline.

Pereira recently expressed his frustration at a lack of first team opportunities at Man United and Leicester City were said to be among the clubs interested in a short-term deal.

However, van Gaal is reluctant to let the Brazilian leave having already sent James Wilson, Tyler Blackett and Adnan Januzaj out on loan at various points this term.

Pereira is highly regarded by coaches and fans at United but van Gaal hasn’t given him much of a look in over the course of the campaign.

The youngster featured in United’s short Capital One Cup run and he will be hopeful of lining up against Derby in the FA Cup on Friday.

It is a peculiar situation when it comes to Pereira as United have been crying out for the creativity that someone like him could bring. The likes of Jesse Lingard, meanwhile, have been allowed the opportunity to establish themselves in the squad.
