Manchester United legend Gary Neville has struggled to make a real impact during his time in charge of Valencia so far but he can’t be accused of a lack of trying.
In a recent video from El Día Después, Neville is shown barking instructions at his players in a mixture of Spanish and English, in a Manchester accent, of course.
“F***ing be ready!” he shouts at Ruben Vezo as he waits for the central defender to get ready to be substituted on.
Neville has drawn the majority of his games at Valencia, often coming from behind to do so.
He is still yet to register a win in La Liga, although he has enjoyed some success in the Copa Del Rey, securing wins over the likes of Granada and Barakaldo.
It must be frustrating for him with the language barrier as it limits him from getting his ideas across smoothly. Still, it takes guts to go out of your comfort zone and Neville deserves credit for giving management a go, particularly in a foreign country. The hope is that results start to pick up for him.
