Omar Elabdellaoui’s has admitted that the defender will not be joining Manchester United in this transfer window, according to BBC Sport reporter Saj Chowdhury.
Man United were said to be keen on signing the Olympiacos right-back, who previously spent time at Manchester City as a youth player.
However, it looks like the club have left it too late to conclude a deal with the window coming to a close.

Elabdellaoui looked to be the player most likely to join United during this window but it will now close shut with no major incomings at Old Trafford.
Instead, United have been busy removing some more of the deadwood in the squad.
Nick Powell and Victor Valdes have both gone out on loan for the rest of the campaign, to Hull City and Standard Liege, respectively. With both players’ contracts at United expiring in the summer, it is likely that they will never play for the club again. The window has gone down as an underwhelming one as far as United are concerned but it was always going to be difficult to convince clubs to sell their prize assets mid-season.
