Hull City have confirmed that they have completed the signing of Manchester United’s Nick Powell on loan until the end of the season.
Powell travelled to the KC stadium to complete the deal on transfer deadline day.
He will remain at Hull for the remainder of the campaign but, with his contract at Man United expiring in the summer, it is likely that he will not play for the club again.

Powell arrived at United from Crewe Alexandra in 2012 and he impressed initially but his career at Old Trafford derailed thanks to injuries and ill-discipline.
The youngster made two cameo appearances from the substitute’s bench against Wolfsburg and Bournemouth earlier this term but it was clear that he was never going to make it at United.
Unfortunately, it’s another youngster with promise that has failed at United. Others, such as Wilfried Zaha, have suffered a similar fate. The club will need to do much better with their transfer dealings in the future.
