Arsenal have confirmed that Mathieu Debuchy has moved to Bordeaux on loan.
Manchester United had been linked with a deadline day move for Debuchy, who had fallen out of favour at Arsenal this term.
However, Arsene Wenger is understood to have personally rejected Man United’s advances for the full-back. Debuchy will be hoping to get regular minutes on the pitch for Bordeaux ahead of the European Championships in the summer.

It appears that United are running out of options with the transfer window coming to a close.
Olympiacos’ Omar Elabdellaoui has been linked with a move to Old Trafford and his agent confirmed United’s interest, but the club may be running out of time to complete a deal.
Elsewhere, Nick Powell has ended his disappointing spell at United with a loan move to Hull City. The window has to go down as an underwhelming one as far is Louis van Gaal is concerned.
