Manchester United’s Nick Powell has joined Hull City on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
It is likely that Powell will never play for Man United again as his contract expires in the summer.
The 21-year-old joined United from Crewe Alexandra in 2012 and initially impressed but his career at Old Trafford derailed thanks to injuries and ill-discipline.

Powell was sidelined for the majority of 2015 but he made two cameo appearances from the substitute’s bench in the games against Wolfsburg and Bournemouth last year.
Powell came to Old Trafford with heaps of promise having shone for Crewe but unfortunately his attitude doesn’t appear to have been the best one.
Much like the transfer of Victor Valdes to Standard Liege earlier in the window, United will now be looking to draw a line under the Powell affair. It will be interesting to see if he helps Hull get promoted.
