Manchester United had an afternoon to forget in the 2-1 defeat against Sunderland on Saturday but Anthony Martial once again impressed.
Martial capitalised on Vito Mannone’s error to equalise for Man United after the Sunderland keeper had spilled Juan Mata’s initial effort.
The Frenchman’s finish, a deft chip, was the only real moment of quality for United in what was an otherwise disappointing afternoon. United fans and pundits praised Martial’s impact on the game:
Martial has it all. He's going to be one hell of a player.

Think this Martial lad will go very far in life.

You'd never, ever think Martial was just 20 looking at that finish. Cool, calm and just the perfect dose of arrogance.

Personally, I fucking love Martial, and if he left I think I'd be depressed for a long time, fantastic player

Martial is a supreme talent at just 20 years old and the world really is at his feet.
United have endured a miserable campaign this term and Martial has been one of the few positives for supporters.
However, there is only so much he can do, and United should not be relying on such a young player to make something of their season. Something has to change if United are to make the top four following the defeat against Sunderland.
