Here is the latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip.

Andreas Pereira is hoping Louis van Gaal will give him more opportunities on Manchester United’s first-team this year but is still excited about being at the club.

The 20-year-old has been included in the Dutchman’s match-day squads but has only made two late substitute showings since the start of the term.

Former Man United manager David Moyes was convinced Cesc Fabregas was joining the club during his time in charge at Old Trafford.

Reports suggested the Spaniard had agreed a deal with Moyes in the summer transfer window of 2013 but nothing materialised and he opted for a move to Chelsea the following year.

Man United are reportedly lining up a £70 million bid for Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to Daily Mail.

The 26-year-old is rated by many as the best centre forward in Europe and has also been linked with a move to Arsenal.

Lastly, Paul Parker insists Jose Mourinho is the wrong man to replace Van Gaal at Old Trafford.

Fans are excited to see the Portuguese manager in charge and have heavily criticised Van Gaal as a result of his ‘dull play style.’ Parker believes Mourinho is as good as a chocolate teapot.
