Nick Powell enjoyed a solid debut for Hull City today in their 0-0 draw against Arsenal.
The 21-year-old midfielder started for Hull after being brought into the team by Steve Bruce in a heavily changed side for the FA Cup encounter.
He was taken off after 78 minutes which will come as no surprise given that it was his first game back in action following a long time out, but Powell was happy with how he played and so were the fans.
@NPowell25 great debut. Worth the journey down from Manchester for us.

Now that he’s got his debut under his belt, Powell will have eyes on playing a key role in Hull’s promotion push seeing as they are top of the Championship at the moment.
It’s been a tough couple of years for Powell with some serious injuries hampering his career progress but hopefully he can put that behind him and kick on under Bruce at Hull.
