Marcus Rashford was called into Manchester United’s first-team training this week ahead of Thursday night’s Europa League tie with FC Midtjylland.

The 18-year-old has been drafted into the team following injuries to Wayne Rooney and Will Keane which has left Louis van Gaal with Anthony Martial as his only available senior striker.

Having played for Man United’s U18s, U19s and U21s this season, Rashford has been impressing at all levels and now has an opportunity to prove himself with the first-team as he’ll more than likely be named on the bench against Midtjylland.

For those who haven’t watched Rashford play, he’s a live-wire striker who has plenty of movement and pace to burn. Plus, he’s a top finisher which always helps if you are a striker and he’s certainly got bags of potential.

All of our injury woes have given so many youngsters an opportunity under van Gaal and Rashford is set to be the next one to get that privilege.
