Manchester United’s youngsters continue to get opportunities from Louis van Gaal

Manchester United’s academy players are continuing to find themselves accelerated into the first-team amid our terrible injury woes.

Regan Poole, Joe Riley, Donald Love and 18-year-old Marcus Rashford all trained with Man United’s first-team ahead of FC Midtjylland and out of the four only Love has made his full debut – Poole and Rashford are yet to make their debut at all.

Rashford is in line to make his debut against FC Midtjylland with Wayne Rooney and Will Keane out injured and he’ll be buzzing with excitement at that, as will Poole who is likely to be named on the bench.

While there is fair criticism towards van Gaal for his decision to have such a small squad, I can’t help but smile at seeing so many youngsters getting their own opportunities as a consequence:
