Earlier this term, Louis van Gaal claimed that Shaw, who is recovering from a double fracture of his right leg, could play in the Europa League final if Man United reach it.
United were superb against Midtjylland, with 18-year-old debutant Marcus Rashford scoring twice as they advanced into the Round of 16.
Closer to the final, closer to my comeback 😝

Shaw is one of a number of United players on the treatment table, with players such as Anthony Martial, Wayne Rooney and David de Gea picking up injuries in recent weeks.
United have world-class medical facilities and staff and Shaw is in good hands, but it is important that he does not rush back from what was a very serious injury.
It is also a big ask for United to reach the final of the Europa League, with some very good teams still left in the competition.
