Here is the latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip.

Manchester United have drawn Liverpool in the Europa League Round of 16. Louis van Gaal‘s side will travel to Anfield for the first leg of the tie on March 10 before the return fixture at Old Trafford on 17th March.

Man United will be without the injured Anthony Martial for the Premier League clash against Arsenal on Sunday, according to MailOnline. Van Gaal revealed Martial’s injury is not “too heavy” but that he is set to be sidelined as United look to avoid a tear or strain which could rule the Frenchman out for even longer.

FC Midtjylland’s Andre Romer has admitted that he was “close to crying” after being terrorised by Memphis Depay in the Europa League clash against Man United on Thursday. Memphis was in imperious form at Old Trafford as he constantly made a mockery of Romer on the left hand side of the pitch.

Patrick Kluivert believes van Gaal would have been sacked by now were it not for his reputation in football. Kluivert played under van Gaal at Ajax and Barcelona before working with him with Holland at the 2014 World Cup, and he backed the veteran coach to turn things around at United.
