Here is the latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip.

Bologna striker Mattia Destro has revealed he’d like to join Manchester United if Jose Mourinho took over and came calling for him. Paul Scholes believes Man United should sign Luka Modric, Raphael Varane and Paul Pogba this summer. The club have spent in excess of £250m since Louis van gaal took over at Old Trafford in 2014 but Scholes insisted the club need more high-profile signings if they are to become a force once again.

Felipe Anderson has dismissed rumours suggesting that he could leave Lazio at the end of the season for Man United. The Brazilian winger has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford after an encouraging season for Stefano Pioli’s side. However, Anderson insisted he’s focused on playing well at Lazio and earning a call-up to Brazil’s national side.

Man United have made initial contact with Paris Saint-Germain’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic over a free transfer to Old Trafford in the summer, according to L’Equipe. Ibrahimovic, who is out of contract at PSG at the end of the campaign, recently revealed his intention to move on to pastures new.
