Here is the latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip.

Felipe Anderson’s agent has confirmed that Lazio have not received any offers this season despite reported Manchester United interest. The midfielder has been heavily linked with Old Trafford since last summer and had allegedly agreed the move in principle.

Red Issue have said Jose Mourinho’s finally been given the word – he’s going to replace van Gaal as manager. They’ve gone as far as to suggest Mourinho’s already lining up his transfer targets but let’s be honest, he’s probably been doing that himself behind the scenes ever since getting sacked as Chelsea boss anyway.

Dwight Yorke believes Ryan Giggs should become Man United’s next manager after Louis van Gaal. The Welshman has been Man United’s assistant under van Gaal for the best part of two seasons and has long been touted as his successor by the Dutchman himself.

Lastly, Roy Hodgson has given an injury update on Luke Shaw and insists his availability for England at Euro 2016 is dependant on van Gaal. The Englishman suffered a broken leg in Man United’s Champions League defeat to PSV Eindhoven and has been sidelined for the last six months.
