Manchester United vs Everton: Team news – Unchanged from Man City

by Sam Peoples

Manchester United XI vs Everton: De Gea, Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Rojo, Schneiderlin, Carrick, Lingard, Mata, Martial, Rashford.

Substitutes: Romero, Fosu-Mensah, Valencia, Young, Fellaini, Herrera, Memphis.

Manchester United are unchanged from the team which beat Man City 1-0 in our last Premier League game two weeks ago.

Ander Herrera and Ashley Young are both welcomed back into Man United’s match day squad after being out of the team for different periods of time.

Midfield duo Adnan Januzaj and Andreas Pereira however have been left out completely, supporting claims that they have been disciplined for a poor attitude while playing with the U21s.

Overall I think that’s the best team we could have hoped for and we’ve got good options on the bench as well.

With both West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur drawing, today gives United an opportunity to gain some ground on the teams above us. As we travel to White Hart Lane next weekend, there’s a chance for us to force a five point swing on them within a week, so three points is vital.
