The newly renamed South Stand was unveiled as the Sir Bobby Charlton stand at Old Trafford this afternoon.
Ahead of kick-off against Everton, Old Trafford stood in unison with red flags waving and mosaics around the ground in celebration of Sir Bobby’s career at Manchester United.
It now means Old Trafford’s two biggest stands have been renamed after two of the most important people in the history of our club – Sir Alex Ferguson and Sir Bobby Charlton. It’s certainly fitting.
