Rashford has burst onto the scene at Man United this season, scoring seven goals since his debut for the club in February.
His latest strike came in the 1-0 win against Aston Villa on Saturday as Louis van Gaal’s side kept their ambitions of a top four finish in the Premier League alive.
Rashford, who will soon enter the final the final 12 months of his current contract, is set to be rewarded for his fine form with a fresh deal worth £14,000-a-week.
The 18-year-old currently earns £1,500-a-week with a £5,000 bonus per first team appearance.
There is a danger that Rashford may think he has ‘made it’ with a new deal but it would be hard for United to ignore what has been a sensational few months for the player. Hopefully the new contract spurs him on to bigger and better things at the club.
