Super agent Jorge Mendes is keen on adding Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford to his list of clients, according to The Times.

Mendes is said to be one of a number of agents interested in Rashford, who has scored seven goals since his debut for Man United in February.

Rashford is currently represented by his older brother, Dwaine Maynard, with former United striker Danny Welbeck’s brothers, Chris and Wayne, providing support.

The 18-year-old’s performances have reportedly convinced United to give him an improved £15,000-a-week contract which he is expected to sign by the end of the season.

As well as Mendes, Paul Stretford and Aidy Ward, who represent Wayne Rooney and Raheem Sterling, respectively, have offered Rashford their services. Stellar, the agency run by Jonathan Barnett and David Manasseh that includes Gareth Bale on their client list, has also expressed an interest.

Mendes boasts an extensive network of clients including Jose Mourinho and Renato Sanches and it will be interesting to see if Rashford does go with him as it could strengthen United’s relationship with the super agent.
