Sir Alex Ferguson and Ronaldo meet at Wembley for Man United semi-final

Sir Alex Ferguson and the legendary Ronaldo were both at Wembley this Saturday for Manchester United’s semi-final against Everton.

Anthony Martial‘s dramatic winner was taken with the sort of confidence you saw from Ronaldo in his pomp as one of the world’s best strikers and his stock is continuing to rise with every performance.

Sir Alex is at more or less every Man United game even in his retirement but it’s always good to see Ronaldo who will always be one of my personal favourite players of all time.

We all remember when Fergie was in charge of Man United and Old Trafford rose to give Ronaldo a standing ovation after his phenomenal hat-trick in our Champions League clash with Real Madrid. At his peak, there was nobody better than him and we were on the wrong end of that.

Can Martial go on to be as good as Ronaldo in the future? He’s certainly started his United career extremely well and aged just 20 the world is his painting to make, and Old Trafford is the canvas.
