Marouane Fellaini enjoyed arguably one of his best performances of the season in Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Everton in the FA Cup semi-final last week and he will be hoping to keep his place for the clash against Leicester City on Sunday.
Fellaini scored the opening goal at Wembley and his good work in midfield gave Man United a solid platform to build on.
The Belgian’s crucial tackle on Romelu Lukaku also prevented his compatriot from giving Everton the lead late on before Anthony Martial bagged a late winner. Fellaini will want to stay in the starting XI against Leicester:
Claudio Ranieri’s men have been organised and efficient over the course of the campaign and Fellaini’s physical presence in midfield may shake things up.
Elsewhere, Timothy Fosu-Mensah will be hoping that the penalty he conceded against Everton does not lead to his exclusion from the side.
The Dutchman was visibly shaken by the penalty, which Lukaku missed, but it is clear for all to see that he will one day become a top player.
