Manchester United are increasingly confident of signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic next season, according to Daily Mail.
Ibrahimovic is out of contract after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season and will heading to the Euro 2016 Championship with Sweden without a club, unless he announces a decision on his future before then.
He dropped a huge hint in his press conference over a Man United offer and admitted on Thursday he would be keen to link up with new United manager Jose Mourinho once again after they worked together at Inter Milan.
PSG have won the Ligue 1 title for the past four seasons, the Swede has said he would like to play in the Premier League and even confirmed he had a concrete offer on the table to guarantee a move to England.
The striker would join the club on a free transfer but would allegedly demand £220,000-a-week, which is completely fair to say he managed to score 50 goals in 51 games across all competitions for PSG last campaign.
United only managed to score 46 goals in the Premier League and could definitely do with an experienced striker up front to help take the pressure of Marcus Rashford‘s shoulders next season.
He’s said to be considering offers from China and MLS but I honestly believe Mourinho’s appointment as manager will be enough to lure him to Old Trafford for a reunion to rival Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
