Manchester United have signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a one-year contract, according to Sky Sources.

Ibrahimovic is preparing to captain Sweden at the European Championship in France this summer but has remained quiet on his club future after revealing he would leave Paris Saint-Germain this year.

The former Barcelona, Inter Milan and Ajax front man has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester to link up with his former manager Jose Mourinho.

He spent a year under Mourinho while they were both at Inter before he moved to Barcelona as part of a £35 million-plus-player deal with Samuel Eto’o.

It’s a fantastic deal for Man United and it’ll be brilliant to see them both working together at Old Trafford. They both enjoyed their time together at Inter and the club claimed the 2008-09 Serie A title while Ibrahimovic finished as the league’s top scorer with 25 goals while he was also named ‘Foreign Player of the Year.’

He has won the league title in 13 of his last 15 seasons and will help the club challenge for silverware under Mourinho. The Swede scored a career-best 50 goals in just 51 appearances in his final season with PSG and has shown no signs of deterioration as he enters the latter stages of his career.

Hopefully he’ll be able to add the Premier League to his glowing array of titles that includes the Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A, French Ligue 1 and Dutch Eredivisie.
